Nedbank Private Wealth: South Africa’s Top Private Bank 2023

 ·10 Nov 2023

A globally integrated, advice-led and innovative approach to wealth management.

This year has brought us so much pride as Nedbank Private Wealth. It first began at the 2023 Global Private Banking Innovation Awards, where we were ranked Africa’s Best Private Bank, in May.

While accepting this win, we had been working on submitting our entries for the 2023 Intellidex Top Private Banks and Wealth Managers Awards.

We were pleasantly surprised on the evening of the Intellidex Awards, as we concluded the night with ELEVEN awards.

Two of these awards stood out for us. They include South Africa’s Top Private Bank; and two of our employees being awarded Top Private Banker.

Redesh Singh took first place, while Louise Davies took the second spot in this new category. We remain exceptionally proud of these awards as they prove that we are on track in connecting you to more.

Being on track, means we are backed by Connected Wealth™, which combines private banking and structured lending; short and long-term insurance, fiduciary services, award-winning collaborative investments capabilities stockbroking, and philanthropy.

Connected Wealth™ stems from our globally integrated advisory services, which gives you access to unique opportunities and insights from local and international experts and 24/7/365 client service available: face to face, over the phone, or online.

It is important to note that while we invest in and improve innovations around our services and products, we can never replace the valued role and contribution of our financial advisers, wealth managers and private bankers.

They are key to our approach to lead with advice, and instrumental in understanding your individual and unique financial aspirations, by using our various products to connect you to the financial future you desire.

Even though we consider the two awards as our overall highlight at the 2023 Intellidex Top Private Banks and Wealth Managers Awards, we still appreciate and celebrate the rest of the nine awards, equally.

These include the Wealthy Family archetype (Wealth Management) category, and the Young Professional and Retiree archetypes (Private Bank) category.

We also ranked second in the Top Wealth Manager (Large Institutions) category, the People’s Choice (Private Bank) category, and the Entrepreneur and Executive archetypes (Private Bank) category, while securing third place in the Lump Sum Investor archetype (Private Bank) category.

Our Interim Managing Executive: Nandiswa Mxokozeli, emphasised that these awards are motivation for us to do more and better: ‘We will keep pushing the boundaries, setting new benchmarks, and delivering unparalleled value to successfully guide our clients through the complexities of local and international wealth management and ensure the stability and sustainability of their individual, family and generational wealth.’
